Rubén Fernández Bleda

Rubén Fernández is a Police Officer and Project Manager in Valencia Local Police (PLV). He began his career as Law Enforcement Officer in PLV in 2005, and since then he has managed 7 EU funded projects from H2020 and Horizon Europe programme frameworks. Among them, we can highlight CC-DRIVER and RAYUELA projects, both addressing the human and technical drivers of cybercriminality with a particular focus on the youth, and IMPROVE project, which sets out to reinforce the fight against domestic violence by developing several AI tools to increase reporting and detection of DV cases. In CC-DRIVER he coordinated the LEA Working Group, which has continued their periodical meetings under the CYBERSPACE project.

He holds a Degree in English Studies, and has completed a wide set of public and private courses and training concerning, among other topics, Safety on Information and Communication Technologies, Hate Crimes, Cyberbullying, and Social Hacking.
