Biography
Albert Tort has been Secretary of Telecommunications and Digital Transformation of the Government of Catalonia since 2024. He holds a PhD in Computer Science, a Master's degree in Computing and a degree in Computer Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).
Since 2008, he has specialised in software engineering, digital transformation, information systems quality and artificial intelligence. He held several positions at Sogeti (Capgemini) between 2013 and 2024, including Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He has also contributed to various academic publications and, since 2016, has coordinated the Postgraduate Programme in Software Quality Assurance at UPC.
