How do I register for BCC26?

What types of tickets are there?

The Full Congress Pass includes access to all conference sessions (in both congress rooms), as well as the exhibition area, networking activities and the full event programme. The Expo+ Pass gives access to the exhibition area, the networking hub and the startup area, but not the congress sessions or talks. If your main interest is discovering the latest trends in the sector, we recommend the Full Congress Pass.

Are there student or academic discounts?

Yes. Email [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help.

Are there discounts for freelancers, Barcelona residents, or employees of a specific company?

No, we don’t currently offer a discount for freelancers or Barcelona residents.

Are there special conditions for non-profits, NGOs or open-source projects?

We don’t currently offer a set discount, but if you have a special request please contact [email protected].

Is there group registration or a discount for groups (10+ people)?

If you’d like to get more than 10 tickets under the same invoice, contact our visitor team for help: [email protected].

Can I cancel my ticket purchase or get a refund if I can't attend?

Ticket refunds are not possible under the terms accepted at purchase. As a general rule, once the registration fee has been paid it cannot be refunded if you don’t attend the event. Exception: if the event is cancelled due to force majeure or reasons attributable to Fira de Barcelona, the registration fee will be refunded on request — this never includes other costs such as transport, accommodation or subsistence.

How do I get or update my invoice?

Once you have your ticket, you can obtain your invoice — and change its details — in the visitor area.

What payment methods are accepted?

Bank transfer, Bizum, or credit card.

Which pass includes meals or food vouchers?

No pass includes meals or food vouchers. A wide variety of restaurants and food trucks are available inside the venue.

Can I get a VIP ticket?

Can I get an invitation letter for a visa?

Once you have your ticket, you’ll find the venue’s invitation letter in the visitor area.

Until when can I register to take part as an exhibitor?

We have limited space available, so registration stays open until all exhibition spaces are filled. Once they’re full, participation is only possible as a sponsor, without a stand.

Accreditation & Badge

How and where do I pick up my badge?

Your digital pass will be available in the official event app once it launches in early October. When you arrive at the venue, we’ll scan your pass and print your badge on the spot.

What do I need to pick up my badge?

Bring your digital pass from the official event app.

I lost my badge — what do I do?

Don’t worry — your pass is always available in the official event app, and we can re-print your badge at any time during the congress.

Can I freely enter and leave the venue?

Yes, you can enter and leave the venue freely throughout the congress with your badge.

Can someone else pick up my badge on my behalf?

Badges must be picked up in person. If you arrive late on a given day, we can print your badge at any time during the event.

What time do the badge counters open?

9:00 AM for exhibitors and speakers, and 9:30 AM for visitors.

I registered but haven't received my ticket — what should I do?

You’ll need your Digital Badge to enter Fira Barcelona. Download the official BCC app to get it: https://www.barcelonacybersecuritycongress.com/app-cyber/ The Digital Badge is the only way to access the event — once inside the venue, you can print it at the Registration Desk.

Where exactly is the venue?

Hall 2.1, Fira de Barcelona Gran Via Venue, Carrer de la Botànica 62, 08908 L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona.

What public transport reaches the venue?

🚇 Metro L9 Sud (Europa | Fira or Fira stops) · 🚆 Renfe commuter train to L’Hospitalet de Llobregat · 🚊 Trambaíx line T1 · 🚌 TMB urban buses. Around 25 minutes from Barcelona city centre.

How do I get there from the airport?

Metro L9 Sud connects Barcelona airport (T1 and T2) directly to the venue in about 15–20 minutes. Other options: taxi (around 20 minutes) or the Aerobús to Plaça Espanya plus metro L9.

Is there a shuttle service?

No, we don’t organise a shuttle service — metro and taxi connections are fast and direct.

Which hotels do you recommend near the venue?

There are several hotel options within a 5–15 minute walk of the venue, especially around Plaça Europa (next to Fira Gran Via) and the Bellvitge area. Check the accommodation section of our website for specific options and rates.

Are there discounts on hotels, flights or trains?

Yes — once you get your ticket, you’ll find discounts on selected hotels in Barcelona, a discount on Iberia flights, and a 10% discount on Renfe train tickets in the visitor area.

How do I book a spot in a workshop?

Workshops don’t require pre-booking — access is first-come, first-served. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to secure your spot.

What happens if a session is cancelled?

Any cancellation or change is announced through our official channels: app, website and social media.

What should I do if I want to speak at the congress?

The call for speakers is currently closed. To speak in one of the two auditoriums, your company must be a sponsor of the event. Alternatively, you can book a paid slot at the Showcase Corner — a stage in the exhibition area with capacity for 10–15 people, in a 15-minute session.

What is the Hacking Village?

A dedicated area for technical sessions and hands-on workshops, designed for technical profiles who want to go deeper into the practical side of cybersecurity.

Is there a CTF this year?

Not this year — the Hacking Village focuses on technical sessions and workshops, open to all attendees with their congress pass, with no additional registration required.

Does the Hacking Village have an extra cost?

No — access to Hacking Village workshops and technical sessions is included in your congress pass at no extra cost.

Do I need previous experience to take part?

No, the Hacking Village is open to all attendees, regardless of background.
