Who Governs the Agents? Identity Governance in the Age of Agentic AI

AI agents are rapidly becoming autonomous actors within the enterprise: accessing applications, consuming APIs, handling data and making decisions on behalf of humans and organisations. But who owns these identities? Who grants their access, certifies their permissions and removes them when they are no longer needed? This session explores why Agentic AI requires us to extend Identity Governance beyond the human workforce. We will examine how AI agents can be discovered, assigned ownership, governed throughout their lifecycle and linked to the permissions they accumulate across cloud and enterprise environments. The goal is simple: enable organisations to embrace Agentic AI without losing control of who - or what - has access to what, why, and on whose behalf.
