AlgoFait, Efizum, i2CAT, MountAIn and Myriota, winners of the Industry Solutions Awards

The 2025 edition of the Industry Solutions Awards selected AlgoFait, Efizum, i2CAT, MountAIn and Myriota for their projects in the fields of Sustainability, Excellence for Industry 4.0, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and Connectivity, respectively. The award for startup of the year went to the Asturias-based Aritium Technologies.

The awards were presented during a ceremony that took place at IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), the main global event focused on the transformation of the industry through the use of disruptive technologies.

The French company Algofait won the Sustainability Award for a water optimisation system for seafood farming, while the Catalan company Efizum / Banc d’Ajuda Tecnològica received the award in Excellence for Industry 4.0 for a digital twins system that can be implemented by small and medium-sized companies.

Cybersecurity and health
The Catalan research centre i2Cat behind a new and innovative a security protocol analyser has been awarded in the Cybersecurity category, and the Australian Myriota, which launched IOT satellites to improve low-cost and low-consumption 5G connectivity, won the Connectivity Award.

Finally, the Asturian startup Aritium Technologies, specialized in developing IoT solutions based on Artificial Intelligence for the healthcare sector, has been recognized as the best emerging company of the year.

The winners of the Industry Solutions Awards have prevailed over eleven other proposals from Germany, Saudi Arabia, Australia, France, Iran, Spain and the United Kingdom in a call that aimed to contribute to the digital transformation of the industry at a global level.

The Industry Solutions Awards were announced this afternoon during a ceremony that took place in the IOTSWC’s Auditorium, after which a gala with exhibitors and visitors took place.

IOTSWC is held until tomorrow together with the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress (BCC) under the organization of Fira de Barcelona, bringing together in Hall 8 of the Gran Via venue more than 250 exhibitors from all over the world.
